Meet Beck!

About

Born and raised in Georgia, it has been so much fun living in Oregon and exploring the Pacific Northwest. It will always be go dawgs, but I like cheering on the ducks too. Outside of my research, I enjoy hiking, camping, photography, and playing soccer!

Education

I Graduated Summa Cum Laud with Highest Honors from the University of Georgia with a B.S. in Physics and a Minor in Geology.

I have a PhD in geophysics from the University of Oregon Earth Sciences department, with research emphasis on volcano tomography and hazard communication.
